Carrie Bradshaw is Back!

It's official!!! Sarah Jessica Parker has begun filming scenes (take a first look below) for the much anticipated Sex and The City sequel in New York City, and doesn't she once again look fabulous in white! I also can't wait to see Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristen Davis (Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte respectively) in action. Unfortunately the casting producers passed over yours truly RedPoppy for the role of Samantha's fashionable friend for which they had an open casting call a few weeks ago in NY City. I mean, didn't they love the cute photo of me at the Central Park Zoo I submitted?? Anways, if any of my dear readers have succeeded in being cast as supporting characters, I would love to hear from you!

We're almost back...

After refreshing our blogging batteries and enjoying the sunshine (when and where we could) over the last week, our short shorts have been replaced with suitable work attire and we are almost ready for business. In the meantime here's a glimpse of things to come...

I can't believe September is already here. The leaves are beginning to change colors, big yellow school buses are taking over the streets, and you're starting to think about a new Fall color for your manicure. Well you're in luck because this season is all about new fabulously dark and edgy colors. We're talking gorgeous shimmers in the most irresistible green (OPI's Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow), glitter-flecked deep burgundy (Lippmann Collection Nail Lacquer in Superstar), and new trendy matte finishes in shades such as taupey-grey (OPI's matte You Don't Know Jacques) and navy blue (OPI's Russian Navy). And how can we forget about the very vampy black nail polish trend (try Zoya polish in Raven and Chanel's completely sold out Black Satin). So fetching you'll want your nails to do all the talking.....
