Rachel Bilson in Vanessa Bruno
Yesterday, Rachel Bilson was spotted in L.A before her appearance on Chelsea Lately. What immediately caught my eye is the coral Vanessa Bruno cropped jacket which she is wearing. And even though the jacket in itself is incredible (the shape and the colour), it is the way Rachel has combined it with the cream silk dress and the gold necklace which intrigues me. I love the mismatching of the different fabrics, cuts and colours. Still, I might have gone with a different coloured bag if I was her, but hey, it's Chanel by the looks of it, so who can blame her for wearing it.
Also, on Tuesday, Rachel showed up at the premiere for her next movie "Waiting for Forever", wearing a dress by Burberry. If you missed it, you should definitely have a peak (or ten!). Stunning!

The Golden Globes: The Fantastic Four
There were a lot of beautiful dresses seen on the red carpet last night at the Golden Globes. The celebrities (or their stylists to be correct!) really stepped it up. I have narrowed my favourites down to a number of four. I often like a lot of sparkle and glamour when it comes to these events (as seen on Angelina Jolie in a green Versace gown and Anne Hathaway in Armani Privé A/W 2010), so it surprised me that my absolute favourite look of the night is the nude Calvin Klein dress worn by Emma Stone. Her simplistic look, with such a clean-cut dress and only a few accessories proves the saying that "less is more". And what I love most about the dress is how well it goes to her blonde hair and her skin tone. Also, I am so happy to see Leighton Meester in Burberry (from the pre-fall 2011 collection). She is the perfect Burberry girl in my opinion (except she isn't British...tiny detail).
Who's dress of the night was your favourite?

The Year In Beauty: These Are My Favorite Things, Part 3
Welcome back. And here we have part three of my and Beauty Blogging Junkie's Amber's favorite beauty products of 2010. I don't think my cat makes a cameo in this video, but you will see a lot of wine!
The products I love in this video include Topshop's big, fat Lip Crayon -- I truly thought I couldn't do a big, bright hot pink, but it works in Topshop's matte -- Urban Decay's spectacular Naked Palette, which is a celebrations of beachy browns and golds, Sulwahsoo Concentrated Ginsing Cream, which costs a small fortune but is worth every stress-inducing dollar you'd part with for insanely hydrated skin, Honore de Pres Va A New York perfume, which smells like the end of a long night out in New York, Burberry's Effortless Mascara, and Maybelline's Volum Express The Falsies mascara.
Amber's beauty BFFs are Stila Smudge Pot in Kitten, La Prairie Advanced Marine Biology Tonic, Juliette Has a Gun Fragrance Set (Lady Vengeance), Napoleon Perdis Lipstick in Calypso, La Prairie Anti Aging Eye Cream SPF 15 and Alterna Kendi Oil.
Again, my outfit ended up being an exercise in what NOT to wear on TV. But speaking of TV, I'm going to be on VH1's Top 40 Music Videos of 2010 Countdown show tonight, so hopefully I will be exonerated. And the lady who did my makeup did ELTON JOHN'S makeup for years. No, she did not make me look like Elton. Oh well. There's always next year.

Burberry Pleated Trench
...and the camels keep on coming. I just can't get enough of camel! Putting that aside, I came across this absolutely gorgeous Burberry trench coat that is, as far as I'm concerned, perfect in every single way. The honey colored specimen is double breasted with a pleated skirt, and you know how deeply I love pleats. However you might find yourself thinking any of the following at this very moment:
1. Even the tiniest semblance of hips will throw those elegant pleats into disarray and make them fan out like a perfect honey-hued umbrella.
2. Is there any room for actual clothes under there?
3. Never mind, just add heels. I can wear this alone as a dress!
4. With a $1495 price tag it might very well be the most expensive dress I've owned.
I say just do whatever you need to keep those very practical thoughts from creeping in, because I HAVE TO HAVE THIIIIIIIS!!!!!
Available @ Burberry

Fashion Weeks Come To An End
Wednesday marked the last day of Paris Fashion Week, bringing all the shows for Spring/Summer 2011 to an end. Therefore, I am very excited to hear which shows you liked the most. Did Chanel make your heart flutter? Was Marc Jacobs your favourite this season? Or did Sarah Burton whisk you away with her debut show for Alexander McQueen?
I must say that I had many favourites, and one on the top of my list is the Burberry collection. Christopher Bailey created such beautiful dresses and jackets for SS '11. I want it all!

London Fashion Week: Burberry Prorsum
For the presentation of Burberry Prorsum's Spring 2011 collection at the London Fashion Week, Christopher Bailey mixed the fashion and technology. For example, he used classic trench and paired it with chic leather. He also wrapped some trenches with neon belt or mixed them with camel or black leather. On the other hand, leathers were softened with soft blue, green and bright pink tiered mini dresses. For evening wear, Burberry Prorsum offer bold leopard prints and studded jackets.

Harper's Bazaar Ageless Style with Ashley Greene, Camilla Belle and Others
Harper's Bazaar will reveal the ageless style on today's fashion world. The magazine will prove that age is just a number and it can't affect one's sense of fashion. For the magazine's upcoming issue, stars such as Peggy Lipton, Ashley Greene, Jacqueline Bisset, Camilla Belle, Cheryl Ladd, and Anna Torv will be featured.
Harper's Bazaar October issue will show us how women from different age groups flaunt the same fashion style. Ashley Greene and Peggy Lipton sport the same versions of Chloè blouses and wide leg trousers. Camilla Belle and Jacqueline Bisset wore similar classic Burberry trench. Cheryl Ladd, and Anna Torv model sweater and shoes from Michael Kors and skirt from Ralph Lauren.

2010 MET Costume Institute Gala Red Carpet
The theme of 2010 Costume Institute Gala or Met Gala is “American Woman: Fashioning A National Identity”. Therefore, I was not surprised when I saw the red carpet photos of celebrities in shades of red, white and blue. The Metropolitan Museum of Art was filled with stars in big gowns, ruffles and bling. Every one tried to wear their best and elegant dresses. However, just what the famous line says: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, some star looked awful to me. Check what I have compiled and know what's behind every star's red carpet fashion style!
