Alexander McQueen Spring 2010
Paris Fashion Week (felt more like a month) came to an end yesterday and boy am I going to miss all the fun. So let's go out with a fashion bang and an always brilliant and conceptual Alexander McQueen, whose Spring collection looked more like the ice capades of Narnia, with a line up of Mr. Tumnus' girlfriends on the runway, horns and platform hooves included. The clothes were signature McQueen with majestically stiff tailoring, stunning graphics, and an historically ominous point of view. He also featured some super 12in. heels which I mistook for an aardvark. But no matter how other-wordly his clothes might to be, I still can't help but be completely wowed by McQueen, design genius that he is...
