Celebrate Good Times, Come On!

Hip hip hooray, it's StyleSpot's 2nd birthday today! I hope everyone's baked a cake for the occassion and that you're all blowing up balloons and wearing party hats as we speak. No, I'm only joking, not even I have done that (even though I do fancy a big slice of chocolate cake right at this very moment!) Anyhow, I'd like to use this post as an opportunity to thank all of you who read this blog and each and every single one of you who leaves a comment. I am so grateful to you, and I am so happy to have made the aquaintance of so many good-hearted and wonderful bloggers!

So, in an earlier post I did promise to celebrate this birthday properly, but since today is very busy (I nearly don't have time to do this post!), I'll have to be the bearer of bad news and say that unfortuneately the big birthday post won't be up today, but I do promise that it will be ready and posted in a few days.

In the meantime I have a little request for whoever that's interested. You see, I'm going to this fancy hotel event in a few weeks time. Usually I have around about 20 outfits planned in my head almost immediately for events like this, and I have to admit that I am playing around with a few dress-up ideas right now. The thing is that I found two dresses from Warehouse in my wardrobe that I haven't used a lot, so I thought that, maybe instead of going out and spending a lot of money on a completely new outfit, I'd go for one of these two. The problem is though that my mind is completely blank on how to style them. So are any of budding stylists who see any visions for these dresses? Are you up for the challenge? Either just leave a comment describing the outfit, or why not create it in Polyvore and send me the link? I'd be so thankful if you will help me out, because I really could save the money that I might put into a gorgeous womens' tuxedo or a lovely hip-hugging skirt if you don't.

And PS. The dresses look much nicer in reality!
